Wolf & Mosaic Oat IPA


This is an IPA which has low bitterness and a nice fruity profile, mixing a classic in Mosaic with the Slovenian hop Wolf. We brewed it with US-05, which is a bit more hop-forward, but if you want to bump that fruitiness up even more, edging towards a NEIPA, you could brew this using S-04.

Pale Ale Malt 5 kg
Malted Oats 200 g
Carapils 100 g


Wolf 20 g 11.8% 60 mins
Wolf 10 g 11.8% 15 mins
Mosaic 10 g 12% 15 mins
Wolf 10 g 11.8% 5 mins
Mosaic 10 g 12% 5 mins
Wolf 28 g 11.8% 0 mins
Mosaic 28 g 12% 0 mins
Wolf 30 g 11.8% Dry Hop
Mosaic 30 g 12% Dry Hop


Fermentis Safale US-05 American Ale 

or for an even fruitier profile use S-04 English Ale.


Treat mash water with 20ml AMS

Mash at 67°C for 40 mins in 23L Water

Sparge with 9.5 L water

Boil for 60 mins

Carbonate as desired.
