Whew! The summer went by fast! And with Autumn already upon us, ’tis the season to harvest hops and brew up a harvest ale!
To commemorate the occasion, Brew Club has teamed up with celebrated local forager John the Poacher to bring you a very special offer.
On September 22nd, at 11am, enjoy a guided day out on the beautiful Walthamstow Marshes with John the Poacher and learn about the local flora and fauna while harvesting wild hops.
After that, return to Brew Club by 3pm with your bounty to whip up a harvest ale with your fresh hops!
John (real name Jonathan Cook) is well-renowned for his knowledge of the local area. He supplies adventurous and innovative restaurants, breweries, cafés, and pubs with fresh, unique, and obscure ingredients that he personally forages. So if you have any interest in the local wildlife, this is a great opportunity to learn all about it!
And of course, the opportunity to brew a fresh-hopped beer just comes once a year.
Tickets are very limited! Don’t miss it!
Get the walk, the brew station, and all ingredients for the special price of £70. Bring a friend along for an additional £10.
